Saving Trees: One Blog at a Time

So I started a blog, finally. That is what people my age do now-and-days, right? Ah, the strains of being "in-style" and knowledgeable of "pop-culture" Speaking of "pop-culture" I had to do an assignment on "pop culture" for my 199 class. Actually it was a blog. Colleges now make you do homework on blogs. Ooooo the world we have changed into.
Well at least we aren't killing trees. However I swear everytime a teacher sends me a PDF because they want to save trees, I want to just bang their head against the wall. Who can read a 50 page paper on the computer? I mean I know that I am old-fashioned and enjoyed the smell and feel of books, but I can't be the only one who can not read something on a computer screen that long. Arg! It really grinds my gears.
Anyway... I don't think that was my point here. Oh yes, "pop-culture." So anyways, I had to write a blog post on this thing called "blackboard" (witty title huh?) about what my "pop culture" obsessions are. I never really noticed it, but I have fallen to the darkside.
College has most deff. changed my life around. I once hated facebook and thought farmville was the stupidest thing in the world. College now has taken up so much of my time and all my friends are away in their own schools, so farmville.... I'll admit shamefully that I am an addict. I was so proud when I got a pink milk cow. *hangs head shamefully*
Also I now actually hang out at the Mall. I used to think that it was so dumb for teenagers to hang around a Mall. I used to be like, "pfff... Don't they have anything better to do?" And the sad thing is that now No I Don't HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO!!! *sigh* Just like I really don't have anything better to do right now. This is why I started a blog. Well actually that is a lie. I do have better things to do, like my homework for my 298 class (Early English Literature), but I really don't feel like reading Beowulf again. I hated in 12th grade and still do.
So0 anyways. I have a blog now. And I will attempt to make it interesting enough for people to actually read it. Do people read these things? People who do probably have as little of a social life as me. *laughs* That almost made me feel better.
Well I guess I gotta go. I'll post an interesting blog up later. Prehaps one that isn't centered around ranting about my social life.

Read ya later,

kHari
